Are you searching for ways to help your dental health? Did you know that certain foods can help your teeth? While it is true that different foods can be harmful to your oral health, we would like to tell you about some you can use to help. When life is crazy, we want you to be able to take comfort that what you are eating may actually help boost your smile.

Foods with fluoride: Seafood may be especially high in fluoride. Other alternatives might include carrots, juices, canned pork or tomato products, beans or beets.
Dairy: Although dairy may be high in calcium, some dairy products can also have other added benefits. Cheese, for example could increase your saliva production and may help lower the acid levels in your mouth.
Fibrous fruits and vegetables: Apples, celery and carrots, for instance, might help you clean your teeth. Even though these should not replace brushing your teeth and flossing, they may be able to help in times when these routines aren’t practical.
Sugarless gum and candy: It may seem funny that our dentist would recommend these at first, but these options can help increase your saliva flow which helps to clean your mouth.
